Our tutors tell us they love to come to work and make children smile. They’re facilitating pre-schoolers developing fundamental movement skills, building confidence and watching friendships blossom. We’re a motivated team who love to create fun and safe environments for all children to get involved and be active while teaching valuable life skills.
Tumbletimes operates as a free play environment for pre-schoolers and their caregivers using gymnastics based equipment. The tutors’ role is to provide a safe environment, support caregivers and children in their exploration of the space and equipment and run big group games. There is also a requirement to set up and pack down equipment. Gymnastics skills are often referred to as the foundation to all sports and performing arts, therefore we are looking for people with an interest in these areas, paired with the knowledge, experience and confidence to teach these skills to pre-schoolers.
When you start, you’ll undertake tumbletimes specific shadowing and training. However, an understanding of fundamental movement skills is an advantage. To thrive in this environment you will have a passion for developing children through movements while having the confidence to engage with caregivers and run larger group games for children ranging from 0 – 5 years old.
