Are you an experienced Cake Decorator? Do you have a passion for cake decorating that you would like to take to the next level?
The cheese cake shop (Pakuranga) is looking for a Cake Decorator to join its small and tight-knit team in a fast paced, dynamic and hands-on full-time role.
We are searching for a skilled, creative Decorator who strives to provide excellent products and services in an efficient, professional manner. The Decorator will be responsible for recreating designs using ganache, Truffle, & fondant. If a free hand at decorating and top-notch customer service skills are your strengths then we would love to meet you. Experience would be preferable, however, full training will be given to the successful candidate
Ideally the right candidate will have the following attributes:
-Experience in working in a hospitality environment
-Attention to detail and an artistic eye
-Exceptional time management skills
-The desire to excel, the ability to use their initiative, and the drive and enthusiasm for the position.
-An ability to work under pressure
-Must be able to lift heavy cakes
-An understanding of Food Control Plans and compliance requirements
-A genuine passion for cake decorating
-Have the right to work in NZ for at least 12 months
-Be happy to start at 8am and work until the job is done. Working days will be Monday through Friday 8am-4pm
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30-42 per week
