About the role
We are a café located within a beautiful new Aged Care facility in Tauranga. The Kitchen Assistant/Kitchenhand contributes to the quality of life of our residents by providing assistance in kitchen-related activities focused towards the provision of quality kitchen/food services to the residents and visitors to the cafe including, but not limited to:
- Assisting kitchen manager/cook with preparation and cooking/baking of food for the residents & visitors to the Café by assembling and preparing ingredients.
- Ensuring café is appropriately stocked to provide smooth service to customers.
- Cleaning the Cafe area and kitchen utensils while complying with the cleaning and infection control procedure.

- Some experience with food preparation would be helpful also
