Part-Time Teacher’s Assistants
Work where you are valued at a place you’ll LOVE! Westfield is currently interviewing for outstanding part-time teacher assistants to join our team of educators!
Positions are 5 days per week, Monday through Friday, 7:00-9:00 AM and/or 3:00-5:30 PM. Additional hours are available, as needed. The PERFECT schedule for college students and others…no nights or weekends!!
Successful applicants MUST meet the following requirements:
- Responsible and dependable.
- Good oral and written communicator.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with children
- Caring person, positive attitude, and upbeat disposition.
- Ability and willingness to take and follow directions from co-workers and supervisors.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
- Experience working with children in a group setting, preferred.
- Degree or college course work in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field, preferred.
- Ability to pass a Background record check including DCF, CORI, SORI, and fingerprinting.
- First Aid and CPR certification within three months of employment
