You will work within a dynamic Ako ā-Mahi team who advocate for successful ākonga | student outcomes – preparing students for their future working lives is at the heart of everything the team does. The WIL Hub has been established to lead the strategic approach to Work-Integrated Learning at UC and support its practitioners to continue to advance WIL with a long-term goal of providing integrated learning opportunities to all students. You, operating within Ako ā-Mahi Hub, will champion these values.

What is it like to be an Academic Lead?

Your focus on the research, advisory and advocacy aspects of this mahi | work will support the achievement of strategic and operational objectives of WIL at UC. You will thrive engaging in innovative research and collaboration, committed to the advancement of the scholarship, pedagogy and practice of Ako ā-Mahi. You will have the ability to develop trusted relationships and become an important advocate for WIL at UC.

This is a role where you will be challenged and rewarded, with a direct impact on student employability outcomes. We are a motivated and passionate team, where there is scope for you to hone your existing skills with plenty of opportunity for knowledge growth in areas that interest you.
