ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ADMINSTRATOR
PERMANENT PART-TIME – 30 HOURS A WEEK
Mitre 10 MEGA Invercargill is a dynamic and ever-expanding locally owned and operated company currently looking for an administration superstar to join our Accounts team!
The perfect candidate will embrace our One Team philosophy, and also have the ability to work independently. Prior administration or finance experience is desirable, although not necessarily essential. Candidates would need to demonstrate that they can work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines, and complete work accurately.
This position is a key part of our Accounts team, predominately responsible for the Accounts Payable side of the business. Working closely with the Finance and Administration Manager and the Financial Controller, key responsibilities will include:
- Completing the reconciliation of our monthly statements in a timely manner
- Ensuring accurate ordering and record keeping of monthly expenses
- Investigating any discrepancies between supplier invoices and packing slips
- Assisting in answering customer enquiries on the phone system in a polite and friendly manner and transferring calls to the appropriate department
The role is for 30 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Hours of work are negotiable for the successful candidate.
