Permanent, part-time

40 hours per fortnight (0.5FTE)

Applications are invited for a part time Preanalytical Medical Laboratory Technician (or Trainee) Phlebotomist position.

The position will be primarily based at Hawke’s Bay Hospital but with agreement the appointee may also assist at any of our sites in Hastings, Napier, Wairoa and Central Hawke’s Bay.

This person will have a keen interest or experience in phlebotomy. Once they have completed training, they will be working 20 hours per week (predominantly mornings), including regular rostered weekend morning shifts.

Preference may be given to a candidate with recent medical laboratory experience who is already registered with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand.
