Prana Physiotherapy is a busy and fast-growing person-oriented Physiotherapy practice based in three locations Nugent Street Grafton, St Lukes Medical center and at Hunters Corner Medical Centre. This position is for Hunter corner medical center Papatoetoe.
At Prana Physiotherapy we treat a wide variety of clients, treating each client through a holistic bio-psycho-social approach. We care for the whole person and not just the injury. We are a multi-disciplinary team of physiotherapists, clinical exercise physiologists and massage therapists who work in close collaboration with other health professionals, GPs, surgeons, podiatrist , Strength and conditioning specialists and personal trainers .
Our aim is to provide our clients with an integrated and personalized experience that caters to what our individuals’ need. We believe that a person is not just a diagnosis but also a whole person, so we provide care for not just the injury but for the whole person. Our focus is optimizing movement function, rather than just telling the client what is wrong and what you should stop doing.
About the role:
We are seeking a qualified New Zealand registered acupuncturist to join our passionate and close team here at Prana Physiotherapy. Our ideal candidate is someone that has a passion for helping others to live a fuller life.
This role is flexible fulltime/part time. Hours of work are flexible which allows and work life balance. The successful applicant will be paid above the industry standards, and ongoing mentoring opportunities will be provided.
About you:
Has a NZQA Bachelor of Health Sciences level 7 qualification
Ideally have two years’ experience as an Acupuncturist
The applicant must be a full member of the New Zealand Register of Acupuncturists Incorporated (NZRA), now known as Acupuncture NZ (AcNZ), or the New Zealand Acupuncture Standards Authority Inc (NZASA) and b) who holds a current practicing certificate.
Show passion and motivation for the field.
Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Have a driven attitude and shows initiative to do work autonomously.
Prides themselves on offering the best quality of care to patients.
Have a willingness to learn and gain knowledge.
Be registered with the NZ Board and hold a current APC certificate.
Have legal right to work in New Zealand.
Be able to work variable hours
