We are looking for a fun, kind and reliable after school carer for our 2 kids (and puppy!). Our daughter is 12, our son is 9 and the puppy will soon be 7 months old. The kids are pretty independent and walk/scooter home from school most days (although do love a pick-up when it’s raining!). They have after school activities/sport most days in terms 1 and 4 with less commitments in terms 2 and 3. Our daughter is very self-sufficient and helps with dinner, walking the dog, etc. Our son can use some encouragement at times to get his homework done and loves to read and play games (card and board games in particular).
The job would be 3-6/6.30, 3 days per week, preferably Monday, Wednesday and Friday but there is some flexibility around the days if required.
A full drivers licence and own car are required to take the kids to after school activities; we pay petrol money in addition to the hourly rate.
We will need you to:
- Meet the kids at home and take them to after school sports/activities when required.
- Help our son with his homework.
- Get dinner ready for the kids (our daughter can help).
- Hang out with them (and the puppy) outside of activities and homework.
