We are looking for a Teacher who loves working with babies. Your skill and heart for providing responsive loving care will make you a perfect fit in our wonderful Kindercare team. Your warmth, nurturing approach, and a natural ability to connect with others will be welcomed and valued. You’ll be passionate about working with our younger tamariki, and respectful teaching will be one of your core beliefs. Building strong relationships with tamariki and whānau will be important to you, and you’ll be aligned with our values of safe, loved and learning.
If you haven’t guessed already, we focus on implementing calm, unhurried practices with a Reggio Amelia philosophy approach when working with our babies. We work closely as a team of in our intimate babies room. Our over arching belief is that our hands are our head and hearts voice. We practice this by engaging with a respectful head, connecting with a respectful heart and by preparing and serving with respectful hands.
This permanent position is hours per week (between the centre’s opening hours of .am – .pm) for a registered Teacher with a current provisional or full practising certificate. You’ll be joining a fun loving and inspiring team, fully supported by our Centre Director and fellow Teachers.
