About Us
We are a boutique compliance consulting firm. We assist financial services organisations with their regulatory compliance requirements, including both Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) compliance and Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) compliance.
About This Role
This is a casual position and may best suit a current university student studying Law & Commerce, or Law & Computer/Software Engineering or someone with financial services and/or regulatory compliance background returning to the workforce. This will start as a hybrid role which may include:
- assisting with AFSL and AML compliance projects
- conducting regulatory research
- marketing-related tasks
- ad-hoc admin tasks
About You
You must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or equivalent, and will ideally possess the following attributes:
- strong communication skills and attention to detail is an absolute must
- critical thinking
- excellent research skills
- a genuine interest in financial services and AML
- ability to work without supervision and under pressure
- tech and social media savvy
Advantages
- Fluent speaking and writing in Mandarin.
- Prior knowledge on financial products (esp equities, managed investment schemes, foreign exchange and contracts for difference), remittance and digital currency exchange.
Location
Our registered office is located in the Sydney CBD. You will be working from home till further notice and may be required to travel from time to time. Training and communication will generally be done through video conferencing solutions. After that, we are open to a combination of working from the office and working from home, as long as work can be done efficiently and satisfactorily.
