Five Senses Education is looking for an Assistant Manager for our North Rocks store. This role will have a focus on retail customer service and tuition administration.
This is a senior role for a person with a strong interest in and understanding of children’s education.
Retail
You will be interacting daily with parents, carers and teachers and helping them find the right product to help young learners on their educational journey. Our product range includes educational toys, school texts, home learning resources and children’s books.
We would love to find someone already familiar with parts of our product range and we will help train you to develop more extensive knowledge.
Tuition administration
Our centre attracts hundreds of students every week for one-to-one and small group tuition.
The successful candidate will handle tuition enquiries and book children in for one-to-one and small group tuition.
General
The Assistant Manager will support the Manager to help the business run smoothly on a day to day basis (supporting customers, store presentation, merchandising, handling stock and assisting with orders).
The Assistant Manager will work in the store 38 hours per week and there will be opportunities for training and career progression within our company.
The successful candidate will ideally have significant customer service experience, familiarity with one of our key product ranges (children’s books, educational toys, textbooks) and excellent communication skills and attention to detail for the tuition administration component of the role.
