Role Summary
You will work to promote clients to remain independent in their own homes. You will deliver care in the home and other venues, provide a reliable, personal service which meets the individuals personal need and respect confidentiality at all times.
Services Required:
· Personal Care (Showering, Grooming, Toileting and Undressing) Domestic Assistance (Light Household Tasks, Taking care of Errands, etc.)
· Transportation (taking the client to appointments, etc.)
· Meal preparation (by following the dietary requirements)
· Respite care
· Should have general medical knowledge of the health conditions, preferred but not required
Requirements:
· Actively willing to travel to different client’s residence as per call (evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts) – Expect the unexpected situation
· NSW Police Check (within 3 years)
· Vaccination – COVID-19 Certificate
· Immigration grant VISA or Australian citizenship evidence
· Willing to obtain or working with Children’s Check
· Take care of his/her personal hygienic
· Adhere to NSW Public Health Order Guidelines for COVID-19
Certification/Licence:
· You should have Certificate/Diploma or enrolled for Individual Care/Ageing/Disability or Diploma in Nursing.
– If you are not qualified, are you willing to do Certificate in Ageing /Disability course whilst you are employed (Employer will pay cost for the course).
· Valid NSW driving license – with CAR CTP AND REGISTRATION
· Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate
– Applicants without Vehicles will also be accepted provided they are able to use Public Transport to provide services to Clients at their premises.
Expected Start Date: ASAP
COVID-19 considerations:
All candidates required to wear PPE, social distancing when required and COVID Testing/Antigen testing is required
Availability
· Between Monday-Sunday, we would like care workers to be available at least 3 out of 7 days, total of 15- 20 hours per week
Salary: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour excluding super
RN students are encouraged to apply
