Role : Mechanic

Location : Christchurch, NZ

Start date : ASAP

Pay rate : $22-$25/hour

Shift times : Flexible, Permanent/Part time Up to 40 hours per week

Responsibilities :

• Be responsible for the maintenance of e-bikes in the Warehouse
• Prepare and check spare parts to streamline repair workflows
• Perform all types of repairs from screw tightening to the most complicated electronic part replacement
• Assist with day to day in-warehouse operations
• Keep accurate inventory records
• Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties and ensure our riders are on the safest vehicles
• Maximise the number of operational vehicles in our fleet

Requirements :

• Good communicator capable of working in a team and communicating issues clearly
• Motivated, energetic individual
• Hard-working & strong attention to detail
• Adaptable & quick learner

Preferences :

• Prior experience as a mechanic or in a similar technical and/or problem solving role
• Some technical expertise in mechanics and basics knowledge in electricity
• Tools experience
