Are you looking for an exciting opportunity with our Perioperative services!
Our busy team at our Sterile Sciences Service (SSS) has the operational responsibility for technical procedures related to the preparation of sterile instruments, supplies and equipment for use in medical and surgical procedures.
In this role, at Auckland City Hospital, your focus will be supporting the Area Lead Coordinators to maintain high standards of cleaning and disinfection of semi-critical and critical medical devices, assembly and packaging and sterilisation of RMDs for surgical services and other ancillary departments
To be successful in this role you will have entry level NCEA level 1 or High School equivalent plus a Level 3/Level 4 certification in Sterilisation. Preference will be given to candidates who have a Level 5 Diploma in Sterilisation, or be working towards it or are prepared to complete it.
You will be part of a high performing, tight knit and supportive team who all have a common passion, care and enthusiasm for delivering a high quality experience and outcome for our stakeholders.
