Mō te tūnga | About the role

Our Lower Hutt campus has an on site staff cafe, providing everything from amazing coffee, the best cinnamon scrolls, catering for meetings, and a daily hot lunch menu. We need another experienced person to join the team – you’ll need to have FOH experience and ideally kitchen management – as well as being able to make an amazing coffee!

You’re great with people and have excellent customer service, and want to be part of an organisation that cares about its people.

Our ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Multi task in a high pressure environment
  • Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions
  • Communicate with a wide variety of people
  • Be versatile and adaptable to the different tasks required for the role
  • Make great coffee

The Kuratini Tuwhera is Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading distance and online learning provider. We are a subsidiary of Te Pūkenga (New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology).
