The Role
You’ll put your practical skills and compassion into supporting residents with everyday activities such as personal care, assistance at mealtimes, and general care duties that make for happier, healthier living at an Enliven home. You will work hard, but there are few jobs that will give you the immense satisfaction of working for people who are grateful for your help and who contribute to an enriching working environment.
Hours: 1530 – 2130 on a 4-on-2-off roster, averaging 25.6 hours per week.

About You
The ideal applicant will:
Be empathetic, compassionate, and patient
Work well in a team
Enjoy working alongside older people
Be physically fit and strong
Have enthusiasm and a sense of humour
Experience in an aged care environment is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

We call out injustice and advocate for positive change. We operate a highly regarded network of 8 other care homes across Otago and we provide many other community-based social support programmes.
Our services for older people are provided by Enliven. We create elder-centered communities where older people have companionship, meaningful activity, purpose, and fun in their lives. We strive for a family like environment for both residents and their loved ones.
Situated in the beautiful Alexandra, Castlewood is home to 20 residents who are supported at rest home level care. At PSO, we value integrity, respect, courage, manaaki, and aroha.
