The Position
We have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Chef to join our team in Camperdown. Working 2 days a week and/or a weekend day (weekend loadings will apply). As a Chef you will be join a large culinary team responsible for the catering for our students and faculty.
The Role
- Assist with the preparation, cooking and presentation of all our innovative and mouth-watering culinary offerings ensuring that the food you offer at the site is delivered to an exceptional standard across our menus and daily specials
- Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating
- Ensuring accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls
- Uphold the fantastic customer focus at all times, responding to feedback positively and proactively
- Ensure the safe production of a high-quality product without comprise to the food safety guidelines provided
The Person
- Previous experience in bulk catering, functions
- Strong HACCP knowledge and experience
- Strong work ethic
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
