Established in 1987, hey dee ho has been providing educational programs and entertainment to children and their parents across Australia and New Zealand and are looking for passionate people to join our team in Wellington.
A hey dee ho music presenter needs to be a confident, energetic singer and performer with a professional attitude and dedicated passion to making a difference in the lives of our most precious resource – children.
As a member of our team you will be provided full training, both in person and online. All programs are scripted with music (backing tracks), props and class plans provided to minimise your preparation time. You’ll need to have a great sense of humour, a love for dramatic play and a willingness to get down on the floor with the children, dance and join in all activities wholeheartedly. If you have always secretly imagined yourself as a presenter on playschool then this is the job you have been looking for.
– Shifts are between 1-3 hours in the morning and afternoon and we aim to schedule sessions close home to maximise your earning potential.
– As we are a mobile service a driver’s licence and car is ESSENTIAL. You will also need regular internet access and a Police check.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
You must be a strong, confident singer/performer
You do not need to be able to play an instrument as all backing tracks and equipment is supplied.
All training is provided both in person and online
Previous experience working with children is a definite advantage. All program material is provided at no cost to you. A minimum level of fitness is required to run our fitness programs.
