Building Service Contractors of NZ (BSCNZ) is the trade association for the NZ Cleaning industry – we represent many employers who require the services of Commercial Cleaners and associated services throughout NZ.
You will be employed directly by one of our members who will provide you with an Employment Agreement, the required tools of trade and training required to fulfil this role
Short Description
Cleaners provide a range of cleaning services to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene while presenting a professional and safe environment for all.
Shift Details
There are multiple packages available as follows
- Monday –Friday
- 30 hours per week
- 6.30 am – 2.00 pm
You must be available for every shift within your package
Responsibilities include
- Making tea and coffee
- Replenishing and ordering stock
- Ensuring the area is kept clean and tidy
- Removing rubbish
- Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping
- Surface wiping, dusting
- Cleaning high touch points
You will ideally have
- A sunny disposition
- A can-do attitude.
- No criminal convictions
- You must be able to speak and understand English to a good level, as all H&S and instructions are in English only
- An ability to work as part of a great team, unsupervised
- Strong attention to detail
- Focus on customer service and delivery of outcomes
- Personal drive to do your best work!
- Willingness to carry out all relevant screening requirements prior to and during employment, this WILL include COVID vaccination and regular testing
