We are all about changing lives and creating pathways through meaningful Community Work projects. As a Community Work Supervisor, you will oversee and manage up to 8 community workers serving community work sentences on meaningful projects at schools, reserves, community groups, Marae and churches – whatever the community needs.
With a natural style to work collaboratively and top notch relationship management skills you will be someone who recognises the importance of the work Ara Poutama Aotearoa does and as we enter into a new and exciting era with Hōkai Rangi, bring new ways of thinking to what is already a complex, dynamic and fast paced environment.
This is a permanent part time position for 16 hours per week. Hours are Friday & Saturday 730am-4pm. There will be the possibility of additional hours on call.

A full NZ drivers licence including the ability to drive a manual vehicle is essential. Please note you will need to complete a criminal history check and undertake a pre-employment drug test.
You must work with high integrity and will demonstrate the Departmental values within your work: Wairua, Whānau, Manaaki, Kaitiaki and Rangatira.
A full driver licence is essential.
