An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Compliance Officer to join our dynamic and friendly team at the Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand Te Matau a Maui, Hawkes Bay
The successful applicant will be working with the smokefree and regulated products retailers providing education and compliance visits to assist them in complying with the relevant legislation. The role includes reporting on alcohol licences from a public health perspective and training licensees in Hawke’s Bay on host responsibility.
The position is permanent and due to the nature of work will require some flexibility. The Compliance Officer will be part of our Health Protection Team and it is anticipated that they will be able to enhance our unit according to their expertise and training. We take an active role in ongoing training and competency development of our team members.
