In this role, you will be working with other Contract Engineers in the delivery of the capital renewals and improvements programme within the Transportation Long Term Plan. You will have the balance of work on site and within the office to ensure variety across your projects.
You will need to have a project management background and have an excellent rapport with internal and external customers.
The projects you will be managing will be across the Transportation Network, both urban and rural, so the ability to coordinate contract delivery with local businesses, Iwi/Hapu, utility providers, schools, public transport providers, adjacent property owners and other key user groups to deliver best value solutions will be the key.
The position will be principally based out of our TSC contractor’s depot with the Transportation Network Delivery Team. Our TSC contractor is Downer, who are based at Riffle Range Road.
Relevant infrastructure experience and project management skills would be preferred. But, if you have an interest in civil engineering infrastructure and/or project management and are keen to learn with a great work ethic, we want to hear from you as well. Our team has a wealth of knowledge that they are willing to share. You won’t be left on your own!
