The Role | Te mahi
We are seeking a motivated demi Chef de Partie with high standards in food and great cooking technique to support our Head Chef in a busy restaurant with breakfast, lunch, and dinner restaurant services as well as conferencing events. A knack for innovation is welcomed in this role.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef De Partie in a busy a la carte operation
- An engaging personality with the skills to interact with customers/guests
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
- Flexible to work rostered shifts, including weekends, late nights and public holidays.
- Capable of planning and delegating multiple tasks
- Open communication skills
- Keeps up with cooking trends and best practices
- Familiarity with sanitation regulations
- Qualified culinary degree/certificate
