Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
You will manage and support the operationalisation of the Digital Security and Risk’s risk management practice, including ensuring an up to date and accurate register of digital risks and monitor the development of digital risk through providing advice and support to risk owners.

Working with internal and external auditors you will prepare the Digital Security & Risk Team – and stakeholders – for audits and provide responses to audit findings.

You will deal with multiple internal and external stakeholders forming strong collaborative relationships and you advocate the importance of security and risk management.

Your work will be integral to the University identifying, understanding and managing its digital risks enabling it to prevent issues before they occur and take calculated risks to achieve their objectives at pace.

Mōu | Who You Are
You have a bachelor’s degree in IT (or hold comparable qualifications/experience). You have digital security or risk management experience, experience with operations change management and can positively influence others.

As you will engage with university stakeholders, technical teams, and the broader IT security team, it’s important that you enjoy collaborating, negotiation, and providing knowledge/support.

Mahi Ngātahi | Who You Will Work With
Our Digital Security & Risk team provide protection, detection, response, and recovery against cyber threats for the success and integrity of UC. We provide best practice cybersecurity risk management and mitigation, including managing the UC wide digital security policy, procedures, and reporting on the relevant security risks.
