Our established and vibrant team is looking for a Graduate Drainage Engineer to join in 2023. You will work with a diverse team and a range of clients from local government, authorities, and private development. Day to day tasks would involve assistance in:
- tCatchment study analysis including hydrological estimation of rainfall
- tHydraulic performance of a closed and open drainage systems
- tDesign new and existing drainage systems including piped network and infiltration basins
- tAble to incorporate water sensitive urban design for water quality control
- tDesign hydraulic modelling of waterway around transportation infrastructure and floodway’s
- tUndertake flood plain modelling for high rain falls
- tUnderstanding of groundwater implications on surface water management design.
- t0-3 years’ experience working on a range of water drainage or planning projects
- tAssist Senior and Project Engineers, along with the wider team, including other disciplines, if required
- tSelf-management skills will be as important as your technical design and project management abilities
- tPrioritise workloads whilst ensuring our clients’ needs are met whilst maintaining strong and trusting working relationships with your colleague’s both locally and across the international Stantec team.
- tBuild and develop your professional profile and expertise both internally and externally by consistently demonstrating an ability to successfully deliver projects.
- tMaintain an appropriate level of service to Clients.
- tExecute project design, documentation and contract administration services including regular project reviews
- tBe accurate, diligent, and professional.
- tParticipate in meetings with clients and other consultants.
