Specialized Support Services, Inc. is under new management, and we are looking to grow our team of excellent Direct Support Professionals who make a difference in our consumers’ lives. This position is advertised for work in Macon, Missouri.
Our Direct Support Professionals assist with the implementation of consumer Individual Plans (IP) and Activities of Daily Living. Consumers appreciate assistance in living life to its fullest through help with cooking, cleaning, bathing, dressing, traveling and enjoying vibrant lives in their communities through recreational and social activities. Importantly, Direct Support Professionals ensure that each consumer’s rights are protected and treat consumers with dignity and respect. Training for this career can be done directly with Specialized Support Services, Inc. and the consumers.
Qualified candidates need a high school diploma, a GED, or must be enrolled in a GED program; a good driving record; car insurance; the ability to pass a state-mandated background check and the desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives by providing domestic, social, health, safety and emotional support.
Full-time and part-time positions are available. Weekend availability desired.
We offer a $750 sign-on bonus for full-time applicants.
We offer a $25 bonus for each 8-hour weekend shift.
