The objective of this role is to assist in coordination and documentation of direct customer and branch deliveries from DC. You will also develop relationship with external transport carriers and all related parties
Key Responsibilities
- Managing North Island shipments by route for all concrete replenishment orders to North Island Branches
- Maintain booking calendar for visibility to relevant departments
- Receive and co-ordinate direct to customer site orders
- Ensuring correct documentation of loads is processed into M3
- Co-ordinate special requirements when required, such as additional lifting requirements, pilot vehicles, cranes etc
What you will bring
- Between 2-5 years’ experience in a despatch role
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong computer literacy with experience using MS office suite and M3 or similar ERP
- Administration skills – meticulous with detail, love being in the numbers and putting the pieces of the puzzle together to ensure our customers are happy
- The ability to work to tight deadlines in a calm and effective manner
