Leroy’s is on the hunt for a swell and charismatic Duty Manager to join our team at our little dive bar!
We’re one of the more unique bars in Wellington. Leroy’s want people with experience and charm, Morgan Freeman Charm. We are all about pumping out banging food and having the most epic range of beers in Wellington! We really mean it when we say epic & banging! We are looking for someone with an eye for detail, a passion for hospitality and a better-than-average taste in music and beer.
As a Duty Manager your role is to run the establishment on a shift by shift basis, reporting directly into your Venue Manager. Your primary role is to be a fantastic host to our customers and the local community. The right applicant will know how to create a fun work environment, can multitask, prioritize and be able to keep calm under pressure.
This role will involve 15-20 hours across 2 shifts a week.
What we need:
- A current, valid LCQ & Manager’s certificate
- A good understanding of opening/closing venues & cashing up
- Experience managing and leading a team is a plus!
- Competency on the bar & floor
- Good food & beverage knowledge and high focus on customer experiences
- Ability to build great relationships with customers and team members
- Ability to be comfortable under pressure when the venue gets busy!
