We are looking for a warm, friendly and professional Administrator who is strongly aligned with our core values of safe, loved and learning. No two days are the same in our centre, and this role will suit a highly organised person who loves people. Caring for a variety of administrative responsibilities, you will have an integral role in the centre and work closely with the Centre Director, assisting her with the day to day running of the centre.
Aspects of this role include:
- Actively contributing to and promoting quality health and safety improvement initiatives that enhance the working, caring and educational atmosphere within the centre.
- Completing general administrative and planning duties (including banking and small purchases) accurately and in a timely manner, being mindful of the need to document activities that can be used for future reference, development of programmes and the auditing of legislative requirements.
- Assisting with kitchen duties and the supervision of children in their classrooms as required by the Centre Director.
This is a permanent, full time position (40 hours per week) between the centre’s opening hours of 7.00am – 6.00pm. Previous experience in an administration role is essential for this position, as well as:
- Outstanding customer service skills
- A heart for tamariki and whānau, and building relationships
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills
- A sound understanding of various computer applications
Applicants require NZ residency or a NZ work visa and will undergo a police vet. All employees working in early childhood are required to be fully vaccinated as per the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order.
