Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role
As our Elective Services administrators – ENT, you will play a pivotal role in enabling us to provide the best quality care to our patients, by referral management, scheduling of outpatients appointments, waiting list registrations, maintenance & scheduling of surgeries & pre-operative appointments. You ability to ensure booking & scheduling protocols for clinics & waiting lists are strictly followed to minimise disruption to patients and clinicians, whilst also ensuring waiting times are to a minimum.
Moū – About you
- Knowledge and experience in an administration role – preferably in the Health sector;
- Able to establish and maintain positive working relationships;
- Self-motivated, and able to work both autonomously and as part of a wider team;
- Flexible and adaptable, and able to re-prioritise a fluid workload;
- Knowledge of the NZ heath system and how it works;
- Able to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Able to multi-task efficiently, and have a great can-do attitude;
- Is aware that own actions reflect on employing organisation, and interacts with team members, patients and their whānau, and the wider community accordingly
