We are looking for Primary School English Creative Writing and Reading Comprehension tutors to join our team at Chatswood. We are all about passion for the children and creating engaging ways to help them to learn English and Maths. Our environment is about fun, smiling and building an enjoyment of learning whilst making progress against learning plans so they can grasp and apply concepts.
Successful candidates will teach classes and/or deliver private tutoring to primary school students after school and on the weekends.
Rates are between $30-$50 per hour (super inclusive), depending on experience, ability and any relevant qualifications. Higher rates are negotiable for the right candidate and qualified teachers are encouraged to apply.
Candidates should possess some (but not necessarily all) of the following characteristics
- have a genuine desire to help students improve their confidence & understanding
- be enthusiastic, well presented and reliable;
- strong HSC (or equivalent) performance in their chosen teaching subject;
- fluency in English and preferably some Mandarin;
- be available from 4pm to 8pm on weekdays, and/or flexible hours on weekends.
