The Equipment Store kapa (team) is a small busy kapa

(team) that is based at The Princess Margaret Hospital and is part of Older

Persons Health & Rehabilitation. The kapa (team) works closely with

clinical staff and is responsible for receiving, storing, cleaning and

arranging delivery and retrieval of occupational and physiotherapy equipment

for tūroro (patients) living in their own homes.

In this role, you will be involved in receiving

equipment, cleaning this equipment and ensuring that Infection Control standards

are maintained. This role would suit someone who enjoys interacting

with tūroro (patients) and providing a quality service.

This role is a permanent, part-time role (18 hours per week) and is based at Princess Margaret Hospital. Hours will be negotiated with the successful candidate.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Cleaning, sorting, packing and unpacking equipment returned to the

store * Meeting the daily schedules and tasks to ensure timeframes are met * All equipment is maintained and operated, that is aligned to the

specifications * Dilute and use chemicals accurately and effectively * Equipment is tracked, packed and unpacked in a safe and efficient

manner * Provide a quality customer service experience to tūroro

Your skills will include:

• A full clean NZ drivers licence * Competent computer skills and literacy skills * Good communication and customer service skills * Time management and problem-solving skills * Physically able to manage tasks including lifting * Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment and undertake minor
