About the role
We are looking for finance content writers to join our team.
If you have a way with words, love finance, and want flexible remote work, this is the role for you!
You will be writing blog articles about various finance-related topics, mainly about decentralized finance topics, such as cryptocurrency, but also other topics such as gold investments, retirement funds (all for a U.S-based audience).
Ideal candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in finance-related field (ideal but not required).
- Experience writing content for the web, and not just papers for uni
- Attention to detail
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines (extremely important)
- SEO writing experience (ideal, but not required)
- Prompt communication
- At least 10 hours availability per week, ideally more
We are looking to hire ASAP, and have quite a bit of work available for the right candidate(s).
Independent contractor role
This is an independent contractor role, with no fixed hours or commitments. We assign content to you, and you can choose to accept or decline it based on your availability. We pay fixed rates per project equivalent to $25 + per hour. The workload depends on many factors including what we have available, etc. This means you can choose your schedule, making it great to work around your studies or other commitments. Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have a relativley consistent availability per week.
We aim to provide you with a supportive environment to work and keep things hands-off so you can focus on what you do best — writing. In the beginning, there may be more back and forth to keep you up to speed on best practices for writing for the web, such as “SEO” (writing content that performs well in search engines like Google).
