We are looking for a Truck Driver with a class 2 (minimum) license, knowledge of safe food handling protocols, and experience in driving in winter alpine conditions to transport stock, recycling, rubbish and courier items between Wanaka & The Mountains multiple times daily!
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the vehicles provided are driven in a careful and cautious manner with adherence to all company health and safety procedures, road rules, and consideration of the conditions
- Making sure all deliveries & item collections are delivered to the correct place in a timely manner
- Making sure Rubbish and Recycling is removed from the mountain and taken the the appropriate disposal centre
- All Food & Beverage stock is taken care of and delivered in a safe & timely manner
- Maintaining polite and friendly relationships with our people (guests and staff)
- Ensuring the vehicles are maintained with appropriate services, driver logs books, and other documentation in maintained
- Maintain high standards of service daily in all tasks
- Accurately updating our company’s Food Control Plan records of received goods
- Working with the Food & Beverage team to help with stock ordering, delivering, receiving, and storing
