The Opportunity
Grab the opportunity to join a medical facility located in the South Auckland region as a Permanent general practitioner. This is a fixed-term contract position and the service is required on a part-time basis. Thus, if selected you will have to complete 04 sessions per week. And, it’s a 10 -15 consultation time with the patients. Thus, nursing support will be provided.
The Medical Facility
This is a Foundation Standard Accredited family-centered surgery offering a full range of general practice and accident & medical services to the community in the South Auckland area.
- Opens on Monday – Friday at 8.30 am – 5.30 pm & Saturday at 9.00 am – 1.30 pm
The Location
This location is a major suburb in South Auckland, New Zealand. It was part of Manukau City before the creation of the Auckland super city in 2010. It is located 6 km south of the Manukau City Centre, and 26 km southeast of Auckland CBD. The suburb is bisected by the Auckland Southern Motorway. The area has a high proportion of non-European ethnicities, making it one of the most multi-cultural suburbs in New Zealand.
Qualifications & Experience
- To apply for this role you must hold or be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or be a fellow of RNZCGP.
