The Opportunity
A full-time/salaried GP vacancy exists at our client’s medical centre established in Hawke’s Bay, North Island. Our client is working hard to create equity of access to support improved health outcomes to Maori, Pacific and other high needs patients and their families. Their healthcare team has 5 GPs and 5 nurses, 2 part time dietitians and a Pharmacist Facilitator.
The Medical Practice
This medical centre offers a full service of healthcare including health checks, immunisations and health and wellbeing advice, for parents and guardians, to older people and youth. This practice is dedicated to providing the best possible care for the community in a safe, supportive environment. The facility is open on weekdays from 9.00 am – 5.00 pm.
The Location
One of Hawke’s Bay’s two cities, Hastings is the urban hub of the region’s agricultural and horticultural industries. Hastings is an inland city of New Zealand, on the east coast of the North Island. It lies on the Heretaunga Plains, near Hawke Bay. Bring your appetite to Hastings and relish the local food and wine opportunities. This major agricultural centre promises to excite your taste buds. It is the largest populous area in Hawke’s Bay.
Qualifications & Experience
To apply for this GP role, you must hold or be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or be a fellow of RNZCGP.
