Head Women’s Volleyball Coach (Part-Time) – Fall 2023 – Roxbury Community College

- Responsible for the recruitment of players as directed by the Director of Athletics and consistent with NJCAA rules and regulations.
- Implement instructional practice opportunities for student-athletes.
- Organize, Administer and Implement the Women’s Volleyball Program.
- Responsible for scouting opposing teams and supervising games.
- Work with Academic Advisor to monitoring/track student-athletes progress in the classroom.
- Work with Strength and Condition Coach to develop pre-season conditioning program for student-athletes.
- Promote athletic activities for the program.
- Perform administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in coaching, playing at a higher education institution or high school level required.
- Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree Preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of Institutional, NJCAA and/ or NCAA policies and procedures, Roxbury Community College rules and conference rules are required.
- Knowledge of recruiting in Massachusetts and ability to judge high school players for talent to play on the Women’s Volleyball team of the College are required.
- Ability to instruct Volleyball related skills/practices.
- Ability to exhibit good judgement.
- Support the Division’s Collaborative Mission.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Ability to work flexible hours (nights & weekends) required.
- Must have a valid Massachusetts driver’s license.
