HWR Rural and specialised Transport operate a fleet of approximately 500 trucks across New Zealand, operating primarily in the livestock and bulk cartage sectors.
The role:
In line with the HWR value Get Home Safe and to get our team home safe every night, we have created a new role to support our Health and Safety team in the Transport Division. This role requires someone who is passionate, sets high standards, can influence others and establish good working relationships throughout the business in order to improve health and safety performance and culture in the business.
A bit about you:
Strong communication and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with all types of people will be critical to your success in this role.
In addition, you will be:
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks.
- Be energetic and enthusiastic
- Have excellent time management skills
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be customer focused
- Proven experience in implementing and maintaining administrative and office systems, including databases, manuals and organisational processes
- Have excellent computer literacy with experience with the Microsoft suite of products
- A team player with the ability to work within a collaborative environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work with diverse personality types.
