Healthcare Assistant – Full Time/Part time – Rostered Shifts

At Ward 23 we aim to provide the best support and care for our patients. Health Care Assistants are a vital part of our interdisciplinary team who work closely with our nursing staff to provide assistance to patients and family.
We strive to ensure that a high quality of care is provided to our patients and family. In addition to patient care, your responsibilities will include general duties to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the ward.
As a Health Care Assistant you will have a strong commitment to providing patient focused care as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Being a team player with strong time management skills, you will be adaptable and able to relate well with people from various backgrounds and cultures.
Essential:
- Health Care Assistant Level 4 Certificate or equivalent (to be assessed)
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a hospital environment (but not essential)
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong command of verbal and written English
- Physically fit
You should be flexible working in all 3 shifts (morning, afternoons & nights & any days of the week including weekends)
