About the Role
In this role you will be providing essential support and care to our Independent Residents who live within our village complex in their own homes. We have roles available at our Jane Mander Retirement Village in Whangarei working the below days and hours.
- 0700 – 1100 across seven days
- 0700 – 1000 across seven days
The hours will be discussed further at the next stage of recruitment as you can mix them to suit.
In this role you will:
- Develop relationships with our residents and their families
- Follow our resident’s individual care plans, providing care that would be good enough for your own mum, dad, nana or poppa
- Use the latest technology – including our own purpose-built care app myRyman
- Work closely with, and support your colleagues creating a great team environment
About You
To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:
- Level 2 certificate in Health and Wellbeing a minimum
- Kindness in your DNA
- Strong empathy and patience with elderly residents
- Outstanding communication skills
- A reliable, friendly and professional style
