Exciting and varied role with Mid-LAND contracting up for grabs! Manage staff and resources to deliver safe and timely horticultural services across beautiful South Canterbury.
Mid-LAND Contracting provides a range of private and commercial gardening, maintenance, and arborist services to clients around the South Canterbury area. Due to the approaching retirement of one of their longstanding team members, the key role of Horticultural Manager is becoming available.
With key responsibilities for running the ‘tree team’, negotiating and maintaining contracts, and ensuring strong health and safety standards are met, the Horticultural Manager plays a vital part in the Mid-LAND team. Your core role will be centred around the arboriculture aspects of Mid-LAND’s service offerings: tree felling and trimming, pruning and shaping, vegetation management and selective clearance, as well as stump grinding, consulting, and more! The Mid-LAND tree team is also certified to trim trees close to power lines, so health and safety is at the heart of everything they do.
