An opportunity has arisen for an experienced People manager to assist covering leave asap for 2-3 months. Located in Grafton within the health sector this role would fully utilise your previous people management experience managing up to 300 volunteer staff. In this role you will be working around 32 hours a week which includes one Saturday every 3-4 weeks.
Working full time hours your duties would include:
- Resource Planning – participate in future needs planning
- Staff and team performance – Monitor and provide clear feedback on volunteer performance
- Regular reporting
- Change and improvement – Participate in any change initiatives, and special projects
- Service Delivery – Ensure processes are robust and support an ongoing safe and effective high-quality service.
- Problem solving
- Professional development – ensure all staff are engaged and have full support and development opportunities
To be successful with this cover you will ideally have:
- Previous experience managing a large number of volunteers or permanent staff
- Health experience would be an advantage
- Advanced MS office and the ability to pick up a number of internal systems
- Experience working in complex work environments
