About the role
On offer, an exciting 12month fixed term role in a large IT team. We are looking for an entry level IT Technical Support guru, you don’t need a whole lot of experience, just a can do attitude and we will teach you the rest. This role could be suited to a graduate who will assume Level 1 – Level 2 support work within the Service Desk team and provide basic ‘day to day’ IT Support for the ERP project team.
About you
We are looking for a switched-on IT Help Desk Support with strong customer support skills to take ownership of issues raised and escalate as required. This role takes command of first line Help Desk support and requires you to use initiative and have a proactive “can do” attitude to simplify work flows and enhance the user experience.
Applicants for the above position will be required to demonstrate a competent level of general computing and IT knowledge. While not essential a tertiary qualification will be an advantage. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate good analytical ability, have excellent written and oral communication skills and possess a strong desire to learn and make a career in IT.
Being part of an “on call” roster is something you will take in your stride, priding yourself on being able to problem solve for staff and contractors to keep them operational regardless of the time of day.
