The newly formed School of Humanities, Creative Industries and Social Sciences features several degree programs that connect interdisciplinary strength so that graduates are better prepared to influence cultural and social change. The Role
- Develop and deliver high quality undergraduate and postgraduate programs

This continuing position is full time and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal land).
How will you become part of our community?
- Bring a passion for teaching and inspiring students, allowing you to contribute across the teaching program
- Practically apply your creative industry expertise to guide your students’ thinking through the current shift in journalism
- Guide and encourage students to define what it means to be in news storytelling now, and into the future
- Have a strong research profile in communication with research, teaching skills and industry experience across the areas of story development, news writing and production, multimedia storytelling and mobile journalism (mojo).
- Intersect in the field between journalism and social media platforms, news agendas, and/or creative coding and web-based media.
How will we support you?
The remuneration for this position is from $103,221 + 17% superannuation.
