About the Role
Venues Ōtautahi is excited to be accepting applicants for full-time, part-time and casual, experienced maintenance staff, key roles within our Assets and Facilities team. You will provide support in maintaining venue assets to meet the requirements of our clients and guests.
Reporting to the General Manager, Assets and Facilities, you will play a key part in ensuring our operational and event delivery teams have the support required to deliver the best events in town. From equipment repair and energy management to painting walls and managing contractors, you will make sure that the operational components of our venues are supported every step of the way.
About Us
Venues Ōtautahi owns and manages Christchurch Town Hall, Christchurch Arena and Orangetheory Stadium on behalf of the people of Christchurch and manages Airforce Museum of NZ and Hagley Oval on behalf of other venue owners.
These iconic venues play a valued role to the Christchurch way of life and the economic prosperity and social wellbeing of the region. Venues Ōtautahi is responsible for the operation and management of Te Kaha scheduled to open in 2025.
About You
The successful applicants will bring a wealth of experience in building and grounds maintenance. You will possess excellent attention to detail and take pride in your work. Further, the right person will demonstrate an ability to troubleshoot and remedy common building maintenance issues.
Our business is full on and operates 7 days a week so flexibility and a driver’s license are a must.
