Job Details: This practice is seeking a full-time Veterinarian to join their super team! This practice is heavily involved in maximising the benefits of technology on the farm including cow collars. It is a mixed rural practice with significant dairy, sheep and beef large animal, along with companion animal components. Enjoy a culture of excellence, with over 30 veterinarians, including nine very approachable veterinary partners, and a huge depth of skill and experience covering all the major farm and companion animal species. The overall practice workload is around 70% large animal and 30% small animal. The large animal workload is around 70% dairy, 20% sheep and beef, and 10% equine and deer. This practice has clinics in North Otago, South Canterbury, East Otago, Waitaki Valley and Maniototo, so their practice area extends from the intensively farmed coast, up the Waitaki Valley, to the extensive high country of the Southern Alps. It offers true diversity in landscape and farm systems. They have first-class small animal hospitals, which are complete with digital x-ray, abdominal ultrasound, and in-house
blood analysis. Challenging workups and orthopaedic surgeries are performed on a regular basis.
