This Employer is looking for an energetic, diligent, and imaginative student to help look after their two boys (aged 9 and 14) after-school for 3+ afternoons per week for 2-3 hours. This includes cooking dinner, home activities and assisting with homework. This job ideally suits a student who lives not far from Kelburn.
Tasks
- Picking up the kids after school / taking them to any scheduled afternoon activities / helping with homework / washing kids lunch boxes / being active with the kids.
- No driving required
- Cooking dinner
- Light housework (about 2-3 hours per week): this may include vacuuming, cleaning, and ironing
- There is also an opportunity to do babysitting every so often.
- Homework guidance
Skills
- You need to be reliable and organised.
- You must enjoy being around kids and part of a family
- Being able to manage time commitments and multi-task is essential
- You can cook and enjoy cooking
- Keen on fun activities with children (rugby, cricket, board games, chess) etc.
- You like working on problems with kids, like spelling and maths problems
- Serious students
Experience
- Ideally you will have looked after children in the past (references please)
Availability
- Start date as soon as possible
- Can be somewhat flexible around your availability
