This Employer is looking for an energetic, diligent, and imaginative student to help look after their two boys (aged 9 and 14) after-school for 3+ afternoons per week for 2-3 hours. This includes cooking dinner, home activities and assisting with homework. This job ideally suits a student who lives not far from Kelburn.

Tasks

• Picking up the kids after school / taking them to any scheduled afternoon activities / helping with homework / washing kids lunch boxes / being active with the kids.
• No driving required
• Cooking dinner
• Light housework (about 2-3 hours per week): this may include vacuuming, cleaning, and ironing
• There is also an opportunity to do babysitting every so often.
• Homework guidance

Skills

• You need to be reliable and organised.
• You must enjoy being around kids and part of a family
• Being able to manage time commitments and multi-task is essential
• You can cook and enjoy cooking
• Keen on fun activities with children (rugby, cricket, board games, chess) etc.
• You like working on problems with kids, like spelling and maths problems
• Serious students

Experience

• Ideally you will have looked after children in the past (references please)

Availability

• Start date as soon as possible
• Can be somewhat flexible around your availability
