Our Information Technology Services team is looking for an experienced Network Engineer who is a bit of a guru when working with networks, firewalls, security, and cloud technologies to help support the IT environment at EIT.
Having good Windows server skills will be advantageous as well as being a good communicator and able to be cool as a cucumber when under pressure is important as you will be interacting with a diverse range of staff.
You will find our IT team to be a group of fun, supportive and friendly IT professionals who are committed to getting the job done to the satisfaction of our customers by applying principles of manaakitanga and whanaugatanga, of which you will be a part of.
This is mainly an IT operational support focused role, with most of your time spent working on Networking, Switching, Wi-Fi, Firewall, Security and Cloud based systems, so you will need to be methodical, organised, and capable of planning your time effectively, often to achieve more than one thing at once.
