Online Maori teacher needed for a gentleman who wants two classes a week on Monday and Tuesday between 7 AM to 9 AM or anytime between 5 PM and 8 PM, one hour for each.
Student’s language needs and goals:
Learning more about the past, present and future of the local area, important for breaking barriers and connecting people, creating good rapport with people and using during certain meetings/presentations/using Maori to open meetings and during discussions; use of expressions and common terminology; wants to use it for connecting with people
The position offered is an Independent Contractor position which requires the teacher to create his/her own curriculum based on the student’s needs. Also, materials are covered by the student’s company. Each student is provided a material’s budget with which the teacher can buy books, CDs and other learning materials for the student.
What the teacher needs to do is conduct the classes at the time required and confirm the hours finished in our system after each class, a progress assessment will be required after every 25-hour teaching. We will provide a flat-rate, money will be transferred to the teacher’s bank account directly from our headquarter on monthly basis.
The basic requirement for the teacher is a university degree and at least 2 year’s relevant teaching experience.
